Hike for a Cause!

Hike for a cause is organizing a hike to support SOS Children’s Village.

We will have the opportunity to spend a beautiful day and interact with SOS Children, plant trees and take amazing photos of the beautiful and spectacular site views.

We will explore the beautiful trail Starting from the statue of Mar Charbel in Faraya to Midan point (Warde).

We will have the opportunity to spend a beautiful day and interact (walk, talk and chat) with SOS Children, plant trees and take amazing photos of the beautiful and spectacular site views.

We will start our hike from the statue of Mar Charbel at the altitude of 2050M till we reach the Midan point (3 km away from Warde parking). Before reaching the endpoint, we will stop for a break to interact (sing and dance) with SOS children and enjoy the plantation of trees with Jouzour Loubnan.

What to Get:

Some light snacks that will boost up your energy during the hike.
Pack your backpacks with water, cap, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Do not forget to get a jacket (it will be cold up in the mountain).
Wear comfortable walking shoes, preferably hiking shoes.

Participants fees:

35,000 LL per person including transportation (Pullman) and guide,
Personal insurance is not covered
Optional additional 20$ for one tree plantation to support #JouzourLoubnan, (can be ordered per family or group).
Parking ticket (3000 LL per car not included in the event cost)

Meeting Time and Point:

7:30 AM, Jal El Dib Highway, under the waking bridge, before DHL.
Back to meeting point: 4:00 PM +
Hike trail: Easy to Moderate, 6KM, around 3 hours walk.
