Adopt a Cedar Programme

Anyone... Anywhere... can today adopt a Cedar in Lebanon with just a click!

The ‘adoptacedar.org’ initiative was initiated based on the request of many individuals who wished to support Jouzour Loubnan’s mission but weren’t able to physically be present.

However, within less than a year this initiative evolved rapidly and started taking many shapes and forms, such as a wedding or birthday wish list, a new baby born’s ‘cadeau de retour’, a memorial, or even a wedding proposal.

It also brought many Lebanese living outside Lebanon to adopt their own tree and visit it when in Lebanon.

Receive an instant digital certificate with the GPS coordinates of the adopted tree;
Request an event wish-list on the ‘adoptacedar.org’ site for friends and family;
Personalize the certificate design to fit the event’s theme;
(Optional) Personalize an engraved metal tag to be placed on the adopted tree;
(Optional) Receive a picture of the tag and tree by email.

Jouzour Loubnan replaces any tree which does not survive its new environment.
Each adoption will help plant, nurture and protect more Cedrus libani trees.
